On wednesday, the library in Mikołajowice was visited by the ‘O’ class from the Nicolaus Copernicus Primary School in Mikołajowice. After introducing the children to the library and its collection, we set off on an interactive journey through space. As it turned out, the students have an excellent knowledge of the planets of the Solar System, and their understanding of the universe is impressive. A library lesson about space is a great way to combine learning with developing a passion for reading, so we spent quite a bit of time reading books and talking about space travel.
