Lovers of crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and other handicraft techniques are invited to the Handicrafts Club at the Municipal Public Library in Wierzchosławice. Participants can show off their handmade creations, share their skills, techniques, and all the interesting tips and tricks related to crafts. The idea was inspired by Kate Jakobs’ book “Friday Night Knitting Club”. The story of the novel does not, of course, take place in a library. It tells about women who meet on Friday evenings for tea and cookies while learning to knit—seeking a break from everyday troubles.

We believe this idea is worth repeating, as confirmed by a survey conducted among our readers and the little angel figurines that Ms. Aleksandra gave us and made by hand. Here is one of them:
