Technical Education Classes: Library Cyberc@fé co-financed by the European Union

On 2 October 2012, an agreement was signed between the local government of the Małopolska Region and the Public Municipal Library in Wierzchosławice for the implementation of the project “Biblioteczna K@wiarenka” (Library Cybercafé). The project received financial support of PLN 4,451.91 from the EU fund “Small Projects” under Measure 413 – Implementation of Local Development Strategies. The funding was granted for activities consistent with the objectives of the “Village Renewal and Development” programme within the Rural Development Programme 2007–2013.

This is the second financial grant obtained through the “Zielony Pierścień Tarnowa” (Tarnów Green Ring) Association, with headquarters in Skrzyszów. The aim of the project is to buy equipment for library cybercafé such as modern computer equipment, thereby providing all residents of the rural commune with access to the Internet. The planned completion date of the project is October 2013.
