“PASS IT ON” – TRAINING SESSIONS WITHIN THE LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM!

The Municipal Public Library in Ryglice, acting as a Leading Library in the 1st Round of the Library Development Program, organized training sessions for its Partner Libraries as part of the microgrant “Pass It On.”
The aim of the project was to pass on to the teams of Partner Libraries the knowledge gained during training sessions and to share knowledge and experience.

Two meetings were held in the libraries in Ryglice and Zalasowa, and two were conducted via electronic communication channels. Librarians from the Municipal Public Library of the Tarnów Commune, the Municipal Public Library in Wierzchosławice, and the Municipal Cultural Center and Library in Skrzyszów were invited to participate.

The topic of the first meeting in Ryglice was: “The Library as a Place for Local Initiatives, Communication, and Cooperation.”
Using communication tools such as Skype and Gadu-Gadu, participants took part in a conference on the practical use of modern equipment.

During the next meeting at the library in Zalasowa, discussions focused on experiences of cooperation with local cultural and educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, and other partners. During the final virtual meeting, the project and the benefits resulting from it were summarized.
