We have completed the first series of meetings with Wiesław Drabik, who told the children how his books are created and answered their questions. There were also contests and riddles, with stickers, bookmarks, and of course books signed by the author as prizes. The author visited the schools in Łętowice, Bogumiłowice, and Ostrów.

Our libraries hold a dozen or so of Wiesław Drabik’s nearly 100 storybooks. They stand out for their beautiful illustrations as well as their humorous, optimistic tales. Children eagerly reach for them because they guarantee good entertainment.

We encourage parents to read to their children from an early age—this helps develop reading habits and stimulates the child’s imagination.
