We would like to remind you that the interest clubs established at the Municipal Public Library in Wierzchosławice are active and are planning further meetings. We therefore warmly invite everyone to take part! We remind you that members of the Book Discussion Club meet once a month at the library to talk about the books they have read, while the Handicrafts Club brings together people interested in various artistic and craft techniques—regardless of skill level. Check the upcoming meeting dates!

As part of the Book Discussion Club, in December participants discussed “Gotland” by Mariusz Szczygieł, and in January they talked about “Entanglement” (Uwikłanie) by Zygmunt Miłoszewski. The next book will be “King of Hearts on the Way Out Again” (Król kier znów na wylocie) by Hanna Krall. The meeting, to which we cordially invite you, will take place on 18 February 2011 at 4:00 p.m.

During meetings of the Handicrafts Club, the ladies present their work and exchange experiences related to crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and making cards using the “pergamano” technique. Soon we plan to present an exhibition of these works in a virtual gallery. We invite you to take part in the next meeting on 18 February 2011 at 5:00 p.m.!
